These terms govern the use of this website and the services offered by Anyaman Rumah. By submitting an enquiry form or engaging any service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or engage the services.
1. Definitions
- "Anyaman Rumah", "we", "us", "our" — the practice operating from 15 Jalan Kelawai, 10250 George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia.
- "Services" — the First Conversation, Documents and Records Package, and Extended Family Coordination Programme, as described on this website and in individual service scope documents.
- "Client", "you" — the individual or family engaging any service.
- "Scope document" — the written document provided before work begins that describes what a service covers and what it does not cover.
- "Agreement" — these terms, the applicable scope document, and any written confirmation of engagement between us and the client.
2. Acceptance of terms
By using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. Use of the contact form constitutes acceptance of these terms in relation to that enquiry.
Engagement of a service (confirmed in writing) constitutes acceptance of these terms and of the applicable scope document.
3. Description of services
Anyaman Rumah provides administrative and facilitation support to families managing practical transitions. The three services currently offered are:
- First Conversation — a ninety-minute structured listening session producing a written one-page task map. Price: RM 470.
- Documents and Records Package — six weeks of practical clerical support including sorting, scanning, indexing and producing a written custody note. Price: RM 1,650.
- Extended Family Coordination Programme — an eight-month programme of facilitated conversations, shared calendar management, document archiving and coordination support. Price: RM 4,500.
Services are available to families based in Malaysia, with sessions available in person at our George Town office or by video call.
4. Scope and limitations
Each service is bounded by a written scope document provided before work begins. Anyaman Rumah provides administrative support and facilitation only. We do not:
- provide legal advice or represent clients before any court, tribunal or authority
- provide financial or investment advice
- provide counselling, therapy or mental health support
- make decisions on behalf of any family member
- advise on rights or entitlements
Where a matter falls outside scope, we will say so clearly and may refer you to an appropriate professional. Referral does not constitute endorsement of any particular firm or individual.
5. Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when completing the contact form and during service delivery
- Make original documents available as required for the Documents and Records Package
- Attend or arrange attendance at scheduled meetings; give at least 48 hours' notice if a meeting cannot be attended
- Ensure that any family member participating in a facilitated session has agreed to participate
- Use the website and services for lawful purposes only
6. Payment
All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). Payment terms will be set out in the written confirmation of engagement. The following applies:
- First Conversation: payment in full required before the meeting takes place.
- Documents and Records Package: 50% deposit on confirmation; balance due at the first review meeting in week 3.
- Extended Coordination Programme: 30% deposit on confirmation; remaining balance in two equal instalments at months 3 and 6.
Cancellation and refunds
- First Conversation cancelled with more than 48 hours' notice: full refund.
- First Conversation cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice: no refund.
- Documents Package: if cancelled before work begins, deposit is refunded less a RM 150 administration fee. Once work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable.
- Extended Coordination Programme: fees paid are non-refundable for months in which sessions have been held. Unused months' fees (calculated pro-rata) will be refunded on written notice of termination.
7. Intellectual property
The content of this website — text, design and structure — is owned by Anyaman Rumah. You may view it for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute or publish any part of it without written permission.
Documents, indexes, custody notes, minutes and other materials produced as part of service delivery belong to the client family and are handed over in full at the close of the relevant service.
8. Disclaimers
This website and its contents are provided for information purposes. Anyaman Rumah does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Services are delivered with reasonable care and skill. We do not make any representation about the outcome of a family situation following use of our services. Administrative support and facilitation do not determine the decisions families make or the outcomes of any legal, financial or personal process.
Nothing on this website constitutes legal, financial or professional advice of any kind.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Anyaman Rumah's total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that service.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, including loss of income, loss of data, or loss arising from decisions made by family members following use of our services.
10. Confidentiality
Information shared by one family member in the course of service delivery will not be disclosed to another family member without explicit agreement. Anyaman Rumah will not disclose client information to third parties except as required by Malaysian law or as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate a service engagement by giving written notice. The effects of termination (including any fees payable or refundable) are as set out in Section 6.
Anyaman Rumah may terminate an engagement immediately if a client provides false information, behaves in a manner that makes safe delivery of the service impossible, or requests that we act outside our scope without agreeing to refer the matter to an appropriate professional.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from the use of this website or from a service engagement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Penang, Malaysia.

13. General provisions
- Entire agreement: These terms and the applicable scope document constitute the entire agreement between us in relation to the service.
- Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in force.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce any term does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these terms without our written consent.
- Notices: Notices under these terms should be sent to [email protected].
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website or services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
