Written scope before work begins
Every service has a document stating what it covers and what it does not. You receive this before anything is agreed, not after.
Four languages in one practice
English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Tamil. Grandparents and grandchildren do not need to speak through a third party to follow what is happening.
Your records, your custody
Everything produced — folders, encrypted digital copies, attested copies — is handed to the family. A custody note records who holds each original at every stage.
Known questions before the meeting
The First Conversation has a written first-meeting script available in advance. Families can read exactly what the facilitator will ask and decide beforehand whether they are comfortable.
No upselling, no pressure
Each service stands on its own. We do not push families toward the more expensive option or suggest that continuing with us is better than pausing. That decision stays with you.
Clear referral when needed
We maintain a working list of solicitors, certified financial planners and counsellors in Penang. When something falls outside our scope, we refer you clearly and do not steer you toward any particular firm.

Archival scanning and encrypted digital delivery
The Documents Package scans at archival resolution — high enough that the resulting files are suitable for submission to institutions that require document copies. Digital files are encrypted before transfer. Nothing is stored on our systems after the work is complete and delivered.

Families come to us when they are already carrying a significant load. We do not add to it with urgency, sales language or suggestions that time is running out. Transparent, fixed pricing with no hidden additions
All three services have fixed prices published on the Solutions page. The First Conversation is RM 470, the Documents Package is RM 1,650, and the Extended Coordination Programme is RM 4,500 for eight months. These prices are all-inclusive within their written scope. If something falls outside scope and we can help with it, we will tell you the additional cost before any work begins.

What sets Anyaman Rumah apart
A few features that are uncommon in this kind of work.
The first-meeting script
Before any First Conversation, a family can request the written script of questions the facilitator will ask. This is not a teaser or a summary — it is the complete list, in order. Families can read it, discuss it among themselves, and decide whether the meeting is right for them before committing to it. We have not found this practice elsewhere in comparable services.
Records custody diagram
At the end of the Documents Package, the family receives a static diagram — a simple chart — showing exactly who holds which folder after the transition. This is not a verbal summary; it is a printed reference that any family member can consult later to know where a document is without having to ask anyone.
Four-language facilitation in one session
It is common to offer services in one language, or occasionally two. Conducting a facilitated family conversation where participants may shift between English, Mandarin, Tamil and Bahasa Malaysia within a single meeting requires a different kind of preparation. The Anyaman Rumah team has that capacity, and it is built into every session rather than arranged as an add-on.
Remote family members included as standard
In the Extended Coordination Programme, family members in other states or overseas can join sessions by video without any additional arrangement or cost. For Penang families with relatives in KL, East Malaysia or abroad, this means the programme does not require everyone to travel for each meeting.
