Three services.
Each with a clear scope.
We do not try to be everything for every situation. Each service below does one thing properly, with fixed pricing and a written scope delivered before work begins.
Back to homeHow each service is structured
Every service at Anyaman Rumah follows the same underlying logic: define what will happen, do it, produce something written at the end, and hand everything over to the family. We do not keep copies of documents beyond the period of active work. We do not accumulate information about families over time beyond what is needed for the specific service they have engaged.
The three services are designed to be used independently. A family might come for the First Conversation and decide no further support is needed. Another might go straight to the Documents Package. The Extended Coordination Programme is suited to larger households or longer-running practical situations. None of the services requires you to start at the beginning and proceed through all three.
When we use the word "facilitation", we mean specifically that a trained person manages the conversation structure — sets an agenda, keeps time, takes notes and produces written minutes — without taking sides, offering opinions on what decision to reach, or advising on anyone's rights or entitlements. This distinction matters and we maintain it carefully in every session.
First Conversation
A single ninety-minute meeting for one or more family members, held at our George Town office or by video call. We listen to the practical situation, write down the concrete tasks involved, and separate them into three categories: administrative tasks (which we may be able to help with), conversational tasks (which a structured meeting might assist), and tasks that belong with a professional adviser the family should choose themselves.
The family receives a written one-page map at the end. Nothing is decided in the meeting and no view is given on anyone's rights or obligations.
What this service includes
- Ninety-minute structured listening session
- Written one-page task map (delivered at end of meeting)
- Clear separation of administrative, conversational and professional tasks
- Available in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin or Tamil
- Office or video call — your choice
How it works
- 1You make an enquiry via the contact form or by phone. We confirm availability and send the first-meeting script so you know the questions in advance.
- 2The meeting takes place — at our office at 15 Jalan Kelawai or by video call — and we listen carefully without interrupting.
- 3At the end of the meeting, we hand you the one-page written task map. The meeting ends there.
Families who are at an early stage of managing a transition and are not sure which tasks need doing first, which require professional advice, and which can be handled administratively.
Households where documents are scattered across different family members, held in multiple languages, or not yet organised in a way that makes them accessible for ongoing use.
Documents & Records Package
Six weeks of practical clerical support: sorting and scanning household documents at archival quality, building a labelled index, arranging accredited translation for documents in other languages, preparing attested copies through the family's own commissioner of oaths, assembling a complete folder for each adult in the household, and producing a written custody note recording who holds each original.
Two review meetings are included. Everything produced belongs to the family and is handed over in both printed and encrypted digital form at the close of the six-week period.
What this service includes
- Archival-quality scanning of all household documents
- Labelled, indexed folder for each adult in the household
- Accredited translation arrangement for non-English/Malay documents
- Attested copies prepared through the family's own commissioner of oaths
- Written custody note for all original documents
- Two review meetings included
- Printed folders and encrypted digital copies handed over to family
How it works
- 1Initial handover: the family brings documents to the office (or we arrange secure courier for bulk materials).
- 2Weeks 1–4: sorting, scanning, translation arrangement and index building.
- 3Week 3 review meeting: progress check, any clarifications.
- 4Week 6 review meeting and handover: printed folders, encrypted digital copies and written custody note delivered to the family.
Extended Family Coordination Programme
An eight-month programme for larger households, including cases where grandparents or relatives in other states are involved in day-to-day arrangements. The programme covers monthly facilitated conversations with written minutes, a shared practical calendar, a complete document archive with per-person folders, coordination of scheduling with schools and other institutions on matters of routine administration, quarterly written reviews, and a handover meeting at the close.
Sessions can be held in four languages and remote family members can join by video. The programme is structured to reduce the need for individual family members to carry the full administrative weight of the situation — distributing that weight across a shared, visible system.
What this service includes
- Monthly facilitated conversations with written minutes (8 sessions)
- Shared practical calendar maintained throughout the programme
- Complete document archive with per-person folders
- Administrative scheduling coordination with institutions
- Quarterly written reviews (months 3 and 6)
- Remote family members included via video — no extra charge
- Sessions in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and Tamil
- Handover meeting at month 8 with full archive transfer
Programme structure at a glance
- 1Month 1: Initial meeting, document collection, shared calendar set up.
- 2Months 2–7: Monthly facilitated sessions, ongoing administrative coordination.
- 3Months 3 and 6: Quarterly written reviews circulated to all participating family members.
- 4Month 8: Final session and handover meeting. Archive delivered, custody notes finalised.
Larger households managing ongoing practical arrangements — particularly where grandparents, relatives in other states, or family members who communicate in different languages are all involved in day-to-day decisions.
